Not necessarily! While a powerful combination, each tool can generate 3D models independently. PF3D Capture, however, is limited to producing lower-resolution models (due to Apple’s restrictions, not ours).
For basic model creation without editing or high resolution, PF3D Capture alone might be enough. Need fine-tuned adjustments and the ability to preview and refine models before exporting? PF3D Studio is the perfect solution.
Together, though, the magic really happens. Capture records images with embedded LiDAR depth data (on LiDAR-equipped iPhones/iPads), allowing Studio to create highly detailed, ultra-accurate models.
